The morning sun reflects on the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean as seen from Apollo 7, photographed from an altitude of 120 nautical miles, during its 134th revolution of the Earth.
Coming Soon

"... the greatest room in the history of exploration..." by those who filled it with treasure. Coming soon, MOONWALKERS, a new television and videotape series.
Apollo 11 Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin writes
that it is time to dream again.

Astronauts Schirra (right) and
Eisele in this first live television transmission from space, made at the end of their third day in orbit.

The expended Saturn IVB stage as photographed from Apollo 7 during
transposition and docking maneuvers at an approximate altitude of 125 nautical miles. Distance between Apollo 7 and the S-IVB is about 100 feet. The round, white disc inside the open panels of the Saturn IVB is a simulated docking target similar to that used on the lunar module for docking during lunar missions.

Astronauts Schirra, Eisele and
Cunningham (l-to-r) are welcomed
aboard the U.S.S. Essex, the prime recovery ship for the mission.
